I would love to hear stories here, have you ever ridden out a hurricane or tornado? I went through Hurricane Dolly last year in South Texas. I will evacuate next time....

SueD823 That isn't a good thing for a child to witness! I know when my twins were toddlers we saw a funnel and it has haunted them for years.

SueD823 Thank you for your very kind response. We have just scratched the surface on adopting and can you believe that being over 40 is seen as too old? I can't believe they would rather judge a parent than put a child in a safe loving home.

SueD823 Ditto on the tornado. So destructive and scary. Of course, very dangerous as well. I can feel for you though with the hurricane. It is frightening as well.

SueD823 OMG! That is terrible! How frightening! Our brush with Dolly was bad. We are about 4 miles from where the eye hit. Our walls were "breathing", and our insurance adjuster said the next thing after that is implosion. Trees down everywhere. Mesquite trees...

SueD823 Thanks, but it has been at least two days, and I have plenty of responses to my posts and respond back. I haven't had time to respond to any, so I was wondering if I receive pay for commenting on their comments to my posts?

SueD823 That is awesome! I have such a desire, but I don't see my writing style as 'good enough', or what meets the standards that I see anyway, of the books out there. I'm really contemplating jumping in with both feet!

SueD823 That is the norm, that they update the stats in 24 hours. But mine hasn't changed in days! Thanks for your input. It's just 10 here in Texas, maybe I'll see an increase soon!

I see people go out in their pajama bottoms, men and women, alike. Into grocery stores, etc. It is obvious they are pajamas. Though I know they are comfortable and could be compared to sweat pants, I have never worn mine outside...
