is literal, that everything in it actually happened? Or do you think the Bible is figurative and just provides examples of how to live your life?

swanrock Many of the sayings we don't understand like walking through the eye of the camel or the rich man getting into heaven is to show that with God all things are possible not that God is a liar. When we read the Bible we should ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten us...

swanrock The meaning of the fish and loaves was to prepare us for the fact that Jesus would continue to feed thousands of people which he does when we celebrate Mass and receive Holy Communion which Catholics believe is the body and prescious blood of Jesus.
