I called the lactation consultant, and she recommended taking a clean diaper, getting it wet but not sopping, and microwaving it for 15 seconds, test it first so you don't burn your boob, cover as much of the boob as possible, and...

teachk I tried hot compresses first... they didn't work... lactation consultant said it had to be moist heat... that's why she suggested the wet diaper.
