Is it necessary that a person should have a religion?

I am a Chinese,live in China. I am a Muslim, but I respect all other religions. China is not a religion country, so most Chinese have no religions, but I think that it is necessary that a person have a religion in his or her life....

tim_salegumba I'm filipino. Yes I think everyone has to have a religion. Because it gives them the sense that over and above them there is a higher being, there is a higher purpose to everything. But I guess much more than having a religion wherein we try to find out for...
