lola I KNOW WHAT THAT IS!!!! I have tons of them in my yard hear in Canada there called American toads, very common to some countries and provences .

lola Im only ten so if this is childish it because my age, my step dad had a dog for 15 years, Trigger the pit bull,he was old and he used to kill the stray cats that would get in his moms yard, while my grandma (she was keeping him at her house) went of to Jamaica...

lola Well it depends, is there or were there any near bye ponds at all close to the area? he might of came from there or had been on the land were they were building houses and found your garden a safe place to be. other words I don't no where he could have come...
