Is it safe to cycle where you live?

I would really like to be able to live without my car, but cycling terrifies me because there is so much traffic. Even on the country roads, there is always someone driving too fast or overtaking on bends when they can't see....

toddjes Hi Riyasam, I think that sometimes people read things differently and they get a totally different meaning than what was intended. I took a class once where there was a sentence on the board and we went around reading the sentence with each person...
