Should calculators be allowed for lower grade students ?

I suggest that usage of Calculators has to be discouraged. It has to be strictly avoided by children going to 2nd and 3rd grade.

IshidaMitsunari Yes, I believe in lower grades such as 2nd and 3rd where the math is very basic, calculators only serve to hinder the learning of important skills. Every child should have at least a basic knowledge of math. For higher grade levels I am all for calculators,...
