xPeriencer Whenever I need a driver, I'll get the CD if I have it. If I don't I'll go to the manufacturer's website and get it from there. It gets frustrating when you download a corrupted or mis-labeled driver (which I have done) so I always play it safe now.

I downloaded moonlight on ubuntu with an xpi form, all i know to install is .deb and from synaptics how do i get moonlight to work on ubuntu?

xPeriencer Are you talking about Moonlight as in the Open Source version of Microsoft's Silverlight? I think .xpi is used by Firefox, try opening it in Firefox. (Right-click, Open with Firefox Web Browser)
