Is chrome making my firefox work slower?

I recently installed google chrome to my pc and after that firefox takes too much time to start. Before it was not that slow. Now the firefox windows opens up and then after a moment it gets stuck and then it is like that for 10...

zamurai This is not due to add-ons. I have add-ons ..but not many. But without chrome installed Firefox worked normal.. chrome works faster..but not good at many times...this was tested mant times on many other systems and OS like vista,xp and windows...
