music remakes

want to know what I really hate. Is when one of these newer bands does a remake of an older bands song and completely ruins it. And they get paid to do it. Or for that matter when any band redoes another bands song. What happened...

zvd123 point well taken, that is true. But so many times have I heard good songs slaughtered by some other band. Even if there doing it in tribute of that band.
