I usually budget for food monthly because it helps me plan ahead and save money by buying in bulk. But, of course, if we run out of something or decide we want to add something extra, we just make a quick trip to the store. Just...

Marie Coyle I treat my pantry items sort of like a business, I guess. If I am running low, those items go on the list as they are noticed. I make one really large trip a month for everything that is a pantry item, canned goods, bulk things like flours, baking needs, etc....

I'll be heading to Chicago this weekend. It's a High School reunion, but I'm really focused on getting a corned beef sandwich at Morrie's Deli on 57the Street on the South Side, where I grew up.
It will be interesting to see...

What a clown show. Today was yet another day in court for the Trump hush money criminal trial. He was angry that the crowds of protesters that he called for never materialized. He was embarrassed so then he started pressuring...

My stomach hasn't been great today. I had a protein bar for breakfast and like 3 bites of my turkey and cheese sandwich for lunch. I was afraid that I was going to puke on...

This is a late post, but I've gotten to where I don't really have a ton of time for online during the weekdays until late afternoon or really the evening. Today was one of those days where I just didn't have time till just now....

Oh nooooooooooo! Red Lobster is thinking about filing for bankruptcy. Here's a brainy idea! Instead of always having specials for shrimp and crab, have more promotions for LOBSTER!
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on...

Marie Coyle They said tonight on our news that one Red Lobster in our area closed today. The one nearest to me is still open. It is always just packed, so who knows. But they also said the ones that were closing are having online auctions and selling all of the contents...

Goodness, when I saw the contractor digging our foundation, I was shocked! We have been waiting almost a year, to get this work done:) We purchased our lot in August, 2023.
Eric is the man that did this work, it took him a couple...

Good evening from sunny, hazy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 65 F.
It's been a sober day today, but still a good day.
I'm thankful I found out the reason for my really bad day yesterday was my phone. I got...

I didn't have to run the weed whacker. That was nice. It gave me a little free time. I got the ground leveled out enough to set the trough where I wanted it. I also tested my old water pump and threw it away. Since I couldn't get...

According to Apple, we're supposed to be getting rain, but I haven't seen any. Not for a while at least. And, as I post this I'm starting to hear it. guess the drizzle was so light we couldn't hear or see it when we were outside....

Marie Coyle It's smart to look at smaller homes. Less to keep warm in the winter, less to care for and have to clean. We gutted and remodeled a 120 year old home once. It took forever, as we did most of the work ourselves. And as you said, we had to completely rewire and...
