Yesterday was the first time in quite a while that Dale and I could go to Greenville without going to a doctor's visit!
We really enjoyed our day out. I was careful not to walk very much and sat a lot, but we went to a pottery factory that was amazing. If I could have, I'd have stayed in there for hours. So many beautiful things. I did buy an artificial tree (not a Christmas tree) for a corner in the living room. We might put some tiny white lights on it.
Then we went to a local jewelry store called Jenni K. She specializes in silver hand made jewelry and her store is incredible. Not sure if it's just a local store or not, although she has a website called jennik.com. Her jewelry has been the most prestigious pieces for women for years.
I bought a silver bracelet with small silver circles for a charm bracelet. I also bought three pewter charms (a cross, a puzzle piece, and a square with stick people engraved on it) and am looking for four more. I want each charm to be meaningful and not have so many you can't even see them.
After that visit, we went to a Hibachi buffet for a late lunch. It was such a wonderful outing. We talked and laughed, then came home and took a nap!
I had an unexpected doctor's visit today, but yesterday was just very enjoyable.

Dale needed a new recliner (that one was hurting his neck), so we moved the old one out to the shop. But then he realized that the two seat recliner sofa we have is exactly what he wanted. So we decided to wait on buying another recliner for a while. That's why I now have a tree in that corner.

@Hannihar We don't live near any large cities, thankfully. I guess some people either don't read the Bible or don't believe it's true. It's a deadly action to turn against God's chosen people.

Thanks, Hanni. Are you staying safe? I am so angry and upset over all the pro Palestinian protests in America. It's shameful.

You are welcome and we are as ok as we can be. The Arab protests will continue I am afraid to say. I hope you are far away from them and safe.

It's always good to get out . Do something not related to a doctor's office.

@1creekgirl That will do it. I find the most boring chore fun, when it doesn't involve medical professionals.

For some reason I never had one before. But I decided I want a nice one with about seven charms that have meanings. Do you still have your bracelet?

@Marilynda1225 I love the idea of your kids' birthstones as charms. You might enjoy wearing it again. I've never worn a whole lot of jewelry, but I still wear earrings and sometimes a bracelet. The charm bracelet seems to be more meaningful than the other bracelets I have.

@1creekgirl I actually have two. I still have one from when I was in high school which is filled with all sorts of charms and one that I got a few years ago that have birthstones of my kids and a few charms. I haven't worn it in awhile but I think I would like to add more charms to it. Mothers Day is coming so that might be a good idea for a gift.

It was okay. Dale had a doctor's appointment today, but I finished picking out the charms for my bracelet. How's your day been?

It really was. We usually have to squeeze in a stop on a day with a doctor's visit.

The PA did blood work and I have an appointment with him next Monday. Nothing serious, hopefully, so far.

I bet you would love it. All kinds of flowers and artificial plants and trees, home furnishings, art work, Christian decorations, all kinds of pottery and glass. I could spend hours and a ton of money if I had either one, lol.

I'm glad you had such a good time. We'd love to see your charm bracelet. The Hibachi buffet sounds really good. I've never been to our Hibachi restaurant. Have a good day.

This hibachi is the closest thing we have to a Chinese buffet, but it's Japanese. To us it's not a lot of difference.
