I haven't flown in about 50 years. I never thought much about it while in flight. The only time I got a little nervous was when I was riding in a 6 passenger plane. The pilot did a lot of swaying the plane from one side to the...

I'll be walking to the BART station in a few minutes. BART will take me to Oakland, where a tram will take me the airport. From there I will fly to Chicago, where a rental car awaits me.
Wheee! I'll see some people I have not...

Today was National Dill Pickle Day, and we decided at work to make a big dill out of it (see what I did there!). So we had a Pickle Fest, and people brought in just about anything they could find that was pickle related. We had...

...in my truck.
It stopped blowing cold air about 5 years ago due to a freon leak in the coil. I had asked the dealership where I get my truck serviced how much it would cost to repair my A/C, and they said about $2000, most of...

And so was a spinach and leeks cream I made to heat our tummies.
Now I am resting in my bed. Forrest Gump just started. I have watched that movie several times but I never grow tired of it.
I decided not to wash the sheets I...

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 59 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. It was raining earlier but that has stopped for now.
I’m at work as usual. I’m about half way through the work day....

I usually budget for food monthly because it helps me plan ahead and save money by buying in bulk. But, of course, if we run out of something or decide we want to add something extra, we just make a quick trip to the store. Just...

Marie Coyle I treat my pantry items sort of like a business, I guess. If I am running low, those items go on the list as they are noticed. I make one really large trip a month for everything that is a pantry item, canned goods, bulk things like flours, baking needs, etc....

I'll be heading to Chicago this weekend. It's a High School reunion, but I'm really focused on getting a corned beef sandwich at Morrie's Deli on 57the Street on the South Side, where I grew up.
It will be interesting to see...

Marie Coyle My reunion last fall was excellent. I had attended two other ones. I really didn't want to go to that one, because the two I attended were ''cliqu-ey'' and it was weird how the groups stuck together. Yes, I was popular in my heyday, but I was also friends with...

What a clown show. Today was yet another day in court for the Trump hush money criminal trial. He was angry that the crowds of protesters that he called for never materialized. He was embarrassed so then he started pressuring...

Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on...

Marie Coyle They said tonight on our news that one Red Lobster in our area closed today. The one nearest to me is still open. It is always just packed, so who knows. But they also said the ones that were closing are having online auctions and selling all of the contents...
