Hello mothers out there. Please help me with this one. My girl, 3 1/2 go to a a nursery school. Every month, they have a special day where they have a program on a particular theme. During the said occassion they are made to wear costumes appropriate with the theme (e.g. they dress like a vegetable during July when they celebrated Nutrition Month. I believe the we make our own destiny. At some point in our life, we will be subject to some circumstances that is beyond our control, however, how we respond to these situation are still within our control. We make the decisions on whether to take it positively or negatively. If you have read on the book "The Alchemist", there is a part of the book which says that the world greatest lie is tha... |

My one wish would be for God to cleanse and heal our planet. Man have inflicted pain to each other through war, man have ruined Mother Nature, our spirits are broken. We need healing, more of spiritual healing than our physical body, so we could live again. |
 | milkfish responded to a discussion called Do you experince this? in life. 1 month ago
I must admit that I have been in that situation before. It seems that the whole world connive against you, everything went wrong. It was really bad and you might try to escape the situation by committing suicide. But at the end my faith on God won. It's really true that when you are down there, rock bottom, there's is no other way but to look up. And which I did. Our true test is how to survive... |
 | milkfish responded to a discussion called Giving Versus Receiving in life. 1 month ago
I believe in the old saying that it is better to give than to recieve. You feel more satisfied when you give to somebody, more espescially if he/she appreciates it, than you might feel when you are the recipient. It doesn't really matter if what we have given is big or small, it's the thoughts that really count. |
 | milkfish responded to a discussion called Tantrums in parenting. 1 month ago
I also share the same dillemma on handling tantrums of my 3 year old kid. When she is frustrated or doesn't get the things she wants, she will throw into fits and will shout and cry. Before, I was so exasperated that I spanked her. But it didn't chenge anything. She still did it often. A friend of mine told me to ignore it. According to her it's like a powerplay between the child and the mother... |

I think I will ask him how I fared on His exams, that is how I lived my life according to His standards. In general, was I a good child of Him or not? And what I can do to touch other people's lives positively. |
 | milkfish responded to a discussion called how does your life change after marriage in love. 1 month ago
Your life will never be the same again after marriage. It is your wake up call to reality. You will not think anymore of romantic dates with your partner but your concerns and priorities will be the bills and the kids. You will not think of yourself only like you did when you are still single, you have other persons to think already. This is the reason why you have to be prepared emotionally an... |
 | milkfish responded to a discussion called Is property still more valuable than life or security? in life. 1 month ago
This world is really getting more materialistic, people seem to treasure wealth rather than their own life. We should remember that these material peossesions are but temporary, we cannot bring them to grave. We can buy all the expensive things but we can never buy peace of mind and happiness. |
