We let our kids pick what sport they want to play. My oldest has picked hockey and he is also a goalie. He has been playing since he was 5 y/o and he is almost 13 now. I did not realize that hockey is one of the most expensive...

3BOYZ1PRINCESS I totally agree they are only kids once. This is why our son plays the sport he wanted. We spend around 3500.00 a year on hockey not including the travel costs(gas,hotel,food,airline tickets) I asked because I have a friend who can not afford sports for her...

My little boy is crying in bed right now. What should I do?

I used to check on him, but for the past couple of nights, I've been letting him cry himself back to sleep. It's been almost 5 minutes or more. He fell back to sleep last night when I did this. I'll check on him in 5 more minutes...

3BOYZ1PRINCESS Yes they have gotten better. They only happen if he is over tired. So I make sure he takes 2 naps everyday that way he goes to bed at night and sleeps all night till morning.
