Germaphobia: lifestyle choice or mental illness?

I am a germ freak, I say it is by choice and of sane mind. I am one fo those who carries sanitiser with them will only use his bathroom at home unless it is an emergency. Will not eat or drink after anyone else even my own sons....

6foot4 Hi, If the behaviour is having a negative impact on your life then you should really think about getting help, however if these are just quirkie little habits then I wouldn't worry too much.
