You remember when Benson and Stabler split up for a while? I'm assuming it was because of something personal where the writers had to write Benson out. Does anyone know what happened?

AdventureGirl The character Benson had joined the FBI undercover. The only one who knew about it was their Captain. I don't know what happened to her in RL- didn't Mariska have a baby? And what about the imposter replacement who kissed Stabler? (I about died!!!) ;-)
