I think the main reason is: Most people fall in love with each other and tries to do everything and almost everything before they get married. Like kissing, make out, s3x, live in together and so on. So when they get married...

Amilywei The phenomeon does exist today,as to me,the key to the situation may be lacking of communication between couples who live under great stress and have little time with family.
