@msdivkar Thanks for your reply! I love curry! A friend gave me some curry soup made with coconut milk, peanuts and a lot of other ingredients. She served it with Naan bread. It was delicious and very filling. I've also had some good veget -arian steak in...

Have any of you ever been totally burnt out on your job? By that, I mean getting really depressed on your days off, thinking about having to go back? If so, how did you cope with it? Did you develop a strategy, or did you just run...

@iniaku That's great to hear! I am taking a hiatus right now myself. I'm praying I'll be able to find a better job in a better run facility. Until then, I'm trying to work on different skill sets. Good luck to you!

What will you have for dinner? I know that I will make a big salad. I also have small cooked potatoes and I could heat them in a skillet. I can see if I make a tortilla instead or a quesadilla. Then I´ll check if I find a...

Anna, now you're talking! I love both of those! I also love breaded fried catfish and fried okra! I am a sucker for fried foods, but I'll eat baked fish and tomatoes as well.

Jose, explain all that to me please. What is an arepa, a nugget and spreaded butter? I'm always interested in different ethnic foods. Life gets boring when we eat the same things over and over! That being said, I am grateful for ALL food.

@marguicha It would actually be a lot better with fresh ingredients, I'm sure! Maybe I will get past my loathing of cutting things up, and try it. I need to start eating better; It's just difficult to set aside the time to do so.

Autumn, my favorite season, is (almost) here! I always feel so melancholy, but in a lazy, relaxed way! My favorite activity in Autumn is to curl up with a good mystery, and a cup of cider or hot chocolate! What's yours?

JR T. You poor thing! LOL! You need to come to N.America just so you can experience the magic melancholia of Autumn! Of course, I'm sure there are things in your country that I would love to experience as well!

@StyleWithSense I agree that I need a breather. I'm doing something less structured, and enjoying it at the moment. It's a temporary job, but it pays well, and it's much more interesting than the repetitious one I was doing. Hopefully when it winds down,...

@rina110383 Hats off to you! I would love to be able to work for myself. Unfortunately, I don't have the means, nor the creativity to invest in such an endeavor. I have tried, over the years, to think of something careerwise that would allow me some freedom...

@agusariyanto LOL! You're probably right. I definitely need a break. I don't fish, but I do play Animal Crossing. LOL! I don't make any money at it, but it does ease the anxiety.

Oh wow! Good for you! I'd love to retire, but that's not in my stars right now. I think I'd get bored anyway, unless I won the lottery and could afford to travel! LOL I just wish I could find a job that I like.

@marguicha I agree. I eat a lot of chicken. I've learned to be creative with it, as it's also an economical choice. One dish I make occasionally is Chicken Salsa: Cook chicken breasts and one jar of medium salsa in a crock pot until the chicken shreds easily....
