BMarshal I believe it has a lot to do with our comfort zones, we would rather stay in them, without failing, than move out and try, even with the possibility that we might fail. And fear is the instigator.

I think it’s healthy for everyone to go a few years without dating, just because you need to get to know who you are. And you can do more thinking and examining and figuring out how to cope with things on you own than you would...

BMarshal I fully agree with what you say, I think as people it's vitally important for us to know who we are before we can enter into a relationship and get to know someone else.
