Has anyone else own or have heard of Emotional Support Animals? I only found out about them a year or so ago, and I have to tell you mine has made a great impact and difference in my life.

Sondra Kingsolver @rocky1980 You pick your own pet. In order to be exempt from pet deposits, allowed to take on planes you get a prescription from your therapist, phsychologist, even an MD, whatever that says basically, that you have been under their care for mental disabiity...

Sondra Kingsolver Emotional Support Animals do not require any specialized training. They are for support only. As in getting depressed people out and about, setting up schedules for their feeding and such. They are recognized as a valid help animal, but they can be any animal...

Sondra Kingsolver I have one also. A small butterfly on my right upper arm. Although it has been sooo many years now, my small purple butterfly now looks like a black moth outline. No money for touch up, but then it's only about the size of a quarter.
