How do you interpret Mulholland Drive? Most theories agree that parts of the film are dream, while other parts are reality, but there are so many symbols and minor happenings that are hard to explain.

Many people attribute it (or at least the term) to a line from Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild": I like smoke and lightning Heavy metal thunder Racin' with the wind And the feelin' that I'm under So there's that ;)
