Dardrian I really like the Underworld series of movies. It's primarily a horror series, though it has undertones of sci-fi, what with the weaponry and some of the explanations that take place once you're into the film.

So, if anyone else has read this author, it would be nice to get your feedback. Basically, I'm waiting for the intervention to take place, it should be happening in a few years. At least, that's what the book says happens...
