I like crime novels, do you have any suggestions?

I haven't had time to read lately, but will find myself with some extra time in the coming weeks, and would like to use some of that time reading. Do you have any suggestions for good crime novels?

Erin88 You mentioned some of my favorites. One of the last ones I read was written by Ed McBain. I haven't heard of Jeffery Deaver, so I will have to look him up. Thanks a bunch!

I had to put my 7-year-old dachshund to sleep on Thursday. She was paralyzed and could not control the back part of her body. We are unsure whether she injured herself when she went out in our yard, or if it was a genetic...

Erin88 I'm so sorry for your loss. I am having some of the same feelings you are. I took her tags and added them to my key chain. That way I still sort of feel like I have part of her with me. Thank you for taking the time to share.

Erin88 I wish I had known this a few days ago. Maybe I could have helped her. I never thought to question the vet's prognosis. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope someone else is able to help their dog before they make the same decision I did.

If you had a million dollars?

If you had a million dollars and had to spend it in one day, how would you spend it? I would use it to pay off bills. I would donate some to charity, and then I'm not sure what I would do. What would you do?

Erin88 I like your idea of donating to animal agencies. I think I would do something similar. There are so many animals in shelters. I think it would be a good cause. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

So, I bought this lion costume for my son. He liked it in the store, but when it came to putting it on, he gets upset because it goes over his face. He screams and will not wear it. It is a one-piece type outfit, so I am not able...
