Why do some people seek advice & then reject it?

Ive came across a couple of people seeking advice,and once you give best advice possible, they reject it, why do they seek advice and the first place and then be stuborn by taking it and rejecting it? Please help me understand?

Glenmercerrolls Because people are social bias and want everything their own way, another way of looking at it is because they just want to conform to the norm yet they can not handle the truth that they are different and this can be solved by repeating that there is nothing...
