Keloids.. what is this thing??

doctor say i am having keloids...can any one say wht this disease/abnormality is and can any1 experience their sufferings if they too have same problem. i am worried aboutmyself now. searched on internet but didnt find a realistic...

scarlet_woman my ex had these..all it was was an outgrowth of extra skin,say from a scar,or a mole.in most cases they can easily be removed.it's usually nothing to be concerned about unless you don't like the look of it.
