Why do some females call their partners 'DADDY"?

I've notice that some women call their partners DADDY. Why? maybe because I never knew my parents I find it a little weird. You don't kiss you daddy the way you would you partner. Do you call your partner Daddy or Mommy?...

Johnie84 Hi Priestesslong, My Mother got into the habbit of calling my Father Daddy, so I would refure to him as Daddy. She said that at first she would refure to him as "Your Daddy", but as time went on it was just easier to say "Daddy this, Daddy that." My Dad...
