I am reading "The Pillars of Creation", part of the Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind. I have loved the whole series so far! None of the books are short. I think the shortest one so far was still over 600 pages!...

Scout claims that "Dill could tell the biggest ones" meaning lies, that she's ever heard. Why might he have told such lies?? I asked my Enlgish teacher, and she said she really didn't know... I'm curious now.

he was trying to fit in wiht scout and jem and act cool i suppose, he lied about having a father and a family, everyt time he came to maycomb he had a new father. He probably said this because it was 'a source of shame' not having one.
