KingstonB I was watching a show once that said that dogs can't watch TV like cats and people because the image continuously flickers for them (as if you were watching a VHS movie with the tracking all off kilter). Not sure if that's true but thats what I heard. My cats...

KingstonB I have three indoor cats who are pretty lazy themselves. Try getting some cat nip and/or one of those small red laser pointers. My cats go insane for both. And like mCat19 said, strings work ideally as well. I use old shoelaces and the cats prefer those over...

She Can, He Can, Pecan

I have been having a discussion elsewhere about how we pronounce the word "pecan" as in the nut. I pronounce it "Pee Can". However, there is an endless list of regional accents in the UK alone. How do you pronounce the word?

KingstonB I pronounce it pe-con. Don't think that's a Canadian thing, just a personal preference. Peanut= pee-nut, Pecan= pe-con. I dunno if that makes sense to anyone but me but there's my two cents.
