movie or book?

I do not know how many of you happened to see the movie Eragon and read the book .... Personally I find that the film is rubbish compared to Paolini's masterpiece. However, there are scenes that deserve to be saved but not many....

What do you think of the death of this character? The polls say that she was removed because the fan did'n like her. I loved her. She was not my favourite charter (wich would be Dean) but she knew how to make a very interesting...
