They do if you give them scraps of human food with onions in it. They dont know whats good for them or not, they only know what taste good.

dogs and cats, for example if you give a dog scraps of human food to them, you would want to make sure there are no onions or any other human foods that might harm them.

yea I don't think so either, but in some human food there are onions, just a precaution.

onions have a ingredient called thiosulphate that is actually toxic to cats and dogs. which causes damage to the red blood cells and cause them the burst. That condition is called hemolytic anemia, every one should always look up every human food that you are...
