intimate36 I agree with you,usually it the reason behind his or her behaviour.Not only in wife , girlfriend, or husband's case,I think it is human nature that generally people do the same they have witnessed.About ,why it is hard for women to leave.... no idea

insaneduck9 In most cases, an abusive relationship obviously has an abuser. The abuser was probably abused while growing up or/and witnessed lot's of violence at a young age. Another possibility could be that the abuser was bullied in early years and was often neglected...
