yeah, I've lived in London, in the same house, for 18 years and I only really know 3 or 4 of my neighbours in passing, certainly not to the same extent that we see on shows like Corrie and Eastenders. Yes, I definitely need to include some representation of...

Mmm, I think the food thing is a stayover from the fact that most traditional foods are based on wartime recipes when there was no access to spices or seasonings. I hadn't even thought about the Beefeaters, but that's definitely something I think I can use...

Well it is a good ice-breaker and our weather is very mercurial so there's usually something to be said about it. Birdie -

Oh god, the accents, yes. Whenever I travel anywhere further north than Cambridge I start struggling; I feel like an ignorant tourist in my own country :S Thankyou Birdie -

Of course, only members of Triond and those which had been paid there can answer this question. I tried to look for that button that will answer this question but there is none. In fact, it hasn't asked for my payment details. Is...

I suppose you just have to be very careful about how you use it. I can see that there would be some benefits from having one, but it seems like a lot of hassle. Birdie -

I didn't realise you had to pay just to have a credit card account. I don't really see the point to credit cards. If i have the money to afford something then I will pay for it out of my debit account, otherwise I'll just go without. Why would people with...

Do you have to pay just to have a credit card? I thought you only had to pay when you used it and didn't pay it back immediately. Birdie -

Trust me, I wouldn't even be tempted to use it. If I have the money to buy something, then I use my debit card, if I don't then I wait until I do have the money. I'm not currently in a position that requires spending outside my bank account, but I'd just like...

Yeah, I only ever buy something when I actually have the money to cover it so a debit card works fine for me. Birdie -

I do have a contract phone arrangement, but it is on my father's account rather than my own. I've never heard of mobile phone contract contributing towards credit ratings. Do you know how that would work? Birdie -
