Just recently I've been having problems with Windows Live Messenger. Every time that I try to add any kind of image this error pops up "The file you selected is not a valid image file. Please select another" and I don't know how...

teclive it might be the file format. images come with different extensions at the end such as.. .jpg .gif .png etc. I dont believe live takes png's. Also, it might have a problem reading it if the extension is in all caps such as .JPG

blackmantra_x Go for XP. At least in xp all major gliches were already fixed or patched up so to speak. In vista you're in a new territory, add to that since there are lots of variation like home, ultimate, business etc then expect that solutions would come in late unlike...

figjam00 In my view you should go for Vista only if you have some extra bucks to spend. Windows Vista requires good hardware to run smoothly. But windows vista didn't enjoyed that much success. But if you want value for money then go for Windows XP - the best operating...

dreamy1 To be honest I really don't see a difference between the both. I really just use the computer to get online so I don't do a lot of other stuff with it. Maybe if you do more than just get online there's a difference but I can't tell.

kriskhedkar i will suggest u to go for windows XP. I have used vista it is painfully slow. I heard microsoft is coming with the patch for vista, hope this will improve the performance of vista. and there lot more softwares which are still not microsoft vista compatible....

coolmailraj Hi. I have used both windows XP and windows vista and can tell you with out any doubt that the XP is the better one. With vista you will surely be looking to help you in something or other time and again. so, just go for XP.
