NurseAnnie They must be, since I have been an owner for over 20 years now. And to the other respondant, odor is controllable if you know how to take care of them properly.

What's the largest ferret you've ever had or heard of?

At a shelter I once saw a 6lb boy. He was amazing! Then I got my baby Leeloo, and I met her daddy. He's HUGE! He's also over 5lbs. Who's the biggest domesticated ferret you've ever seen or had, or even just heard of?

NurseAnnie Largest ferret I have ever heard of was 10 pounds, and this was a German ferret.

A few years ago seems like everyone had to have one or a few. Now I hardly hear much about them or see them in shops like I used to. The people I knew that "had to have them", now dont own any and have the conventional cat or dog....
