Listening to my grandfather talk, I came to realize that they did a lot of things for fun back then. Then I realized something else. Teens weren't as big on drugs then either, nor did they fight as much, or even drink as much....

I agree with what you say about it makes life and death easier but does that mean it makes it happier? To me getting fun from nothing but video games or internet friends seems hollow. It would be being happy but a very shallow untrue happy to me.
