How to change vista into XP?

I bought a DELL last year ,and it is vista ,but it is so slow and unconvenient ,I want to change it to XP,but maybe this will do harm to my computer,how can I solve this problem?

PurpleMaple Well,maybe I can't help you with this problem.But I really think that vista is better than XP.You need some time to be familiar with vista.
