RoseElizabeth In many people's opinions. I don't know that California will be able to enforce the no spanking law if it is mandated, but I am glad that it means that it will start taking away the idea that spanking/abusing a child is ever ok to do.

RoseElizabeth I hear that all the time as well. I have high needs children and the last thing they need is the "good whooping" I keep hearing that my children need in order to "whip" them into shape.

RoseElizabeth I am so glad to see this response. It is really difficult in this day and age to find other parents who do not believe in the use of physical punishment.

RoseElizabeth You have got to be kidding me. You seriously beat your children? Do you realize you are teaching them nothing but fear and that spanking actually encourages defiance more than it discourages it? That it is painful not only physically, but emotionally as well?...
