RowenaTheWitch Yes you can debaptize, it's true, I know two people who have done it. You have to make a formal act of defection from the Church, but I don't know how it works.

RowenaTheWitch That's the same thing I thought, with baptism you are not obligating the kid to be christian in the future. If you are not christian then it's only a bit of water in the head so no harm.

RowenaTheWitch It's a very difficult issue. The father really is christian and he believes to reach salvation a child should be baptized. Even if I think that IF there is a God he doesn't care in what religion you are as long as you are good, I can see his point of view....
