why are people there less caring for the climate change suffered by the earth?

In the TV,there are break-news about earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, China, USA, Some African countries. But people are careless and do as there was nothing happening. It this the change we wanted or is this a profit for others ?...

I've been around the net, looking for destination for vacations. Yahoo ads, You-tube videos and even brochures show the tropical islands as favorite destinations. It seems that in spite of the world warmth, people still like to go...
