Should children be given pocket money?

Children often demand pocket money so that they can use that for chocolates or candies and icecreams etc. I feel that the money may not go waste and they will adopt to laundering of money not properly utilise it. What do you say?

TomJay Children should be given pocket money as part of learning about life. By explaining to them that when the money has been spent they will not be getting anymore they will in turn learn about budgeting and the need to spend resonsibilty. I also think think...
