Traceyjayne I do shopping for her and we take her out for lunch etc but I can not be there in a morning and at night as I work and do not drive and I do not live as close as her daughter who does drive and does not work.

Traceyjayne My Mom and I do as much as we can. My Mom is 86 and not in the best of health herself. I work and do not drive and do not live as close as her daughter.

Traceyjayne the mother is a very proud lady and does not want help/carers to have to come in .....she also does not want to admit to people just what her daughter is really like.

Traceyjayne We have several bird feeders in our garden ...although just every day birds visit us. We do think that a squirrel may be visiting as well though as a bird feeder is often to be found knocked to the ground.
