What is difference between Disk clean up and Disk Fragmentation..?

I don't know what is the difference between this two..both do same task..compress the file and remove the unnecessary files. we can use any one of them..Do you know about it..?

rebelann1949 Oh boy, now I am totally confused @Vick77 what is a HDD and a SDD? Last night I was thinking of defragmenting but thought I'd wait until today, I'm glad I haven't started. How will I know if I am defragmenting the right one? Oh and you're welcome.
