shooting_star If I can do the favor that they're asking, I say yes. But if I really can't, then I say no and then explain why, then promise that I will help them whenever I can. I don't want to make promises I know I can't keep.

cloudage IMO a true best friend will understand that you cannot always say yes. Just make it clear that you love him or her, but that you just don't have the time.

Raymo23 Of course. You have to be assertive whaetever the occasion and regardless of who is asking. If I could not do the favour, if its gonna affect me in a way that I do not like, I will obviously say no.

great_cena I do talk to myself when i am nervous or am preparing myself which i am going to do and i have to do.I use to buck up myself by talking to the mirror and get set myself to get the final output of myself.

secretbear i do that all the time. whenever i get insecure or whenever im happy or whenever im being paranoid or silly. it helps to calm me down. its like an outlet. ^__^

Jeanniebugs I think that would be suitable enough. With the loud audio at the cinema, we can hear even the tiniest tick of a matchstick that fell from the movie. It is more exciting and enjoyable to watch at the cinema.
