Can men and women be just friends?

Every day I hear people saying that the friendship between men and women does not exist, because in some way or one of the two already has feelings, or falls over time. I personally believe that this kind of friendship can exist....

Artgirl @ajuharsh Very true, but somehow most people (or guys?) cannot take the gender out of the equation. That's when the trouble starts.

jaishankar @thequestioner,@ajuharsh is right.It is being too conscious about the gender of the other person that creates confusion.

jaishankar @ajuharsh,You are absolutely right.One becomes happy when one become independent.But don't you think that independence,in true sense of the term,also means independence from the feeling of being needy.I mean,it is perhaps all about rising above...
