softdrinks - what do we like about them

i am a coke addict,, and i am aware that too much softdrinks is bad for our health,, but,, why do we - people - still drink inspite of knowing its consequences?,, i mean,, we know it's one cause of hyperacidity, it makes us bloat...

aldenp Hey i too am addicted to these drinks.... but not aereated drinks .... but i do like Tang and other drinks which do not have artifical ingridents......for me but its just like one or two bottles in a day or else i cnat satnd anything... its like a smoking...
