Why war when we can have Peace?

It intrigues me no end why nations, countries and states among others could not brace for peace. Why there's war? Why sow terror when we could sow peace? How should peace be attained without resorting to arms struggle??

I am very proud of my homeland, the Philippines. Inspite of bad publicities it generated because of the threat of terrorism, still I could say that it is one of the best in terms of hospitality, of friendly and gentle people....
