How do you cure insomnia?

I have read many articles about insomnia, and most of them suggest the people with insomnia to sleep with the lights off or drink milk before going to bed. Is there any other natural ways to cure insomnia? Some herbal drinks...

its-logos-plus-logic None of those things help me. I started taking 1/8 dose of over the counter sleep meds about 20 years ago, now I am up to a full dose, but I have to stop taking after a while so I don't have to increase the...
