How to tweak up the XP---XP seems to be instable

i have a problem-says memory full.

whenever i try to install any software on my nokia 6600, it gives an error message saying that "the memory is f\full. please delete some data.", although i've confirmed that it has 34MB free and 21MB used. cannot install any...
