arkstfan Wasn't our bullpen impressive today eating up all those innings and only giving up one walk. I see the Cubs winning the central if our rookies keep playing lights out and our vets keep hitting walk-offs combined with solid pitching.

Above Ground Pool or Disney Vacation?

We have a choice to make. Our kids are ages 11 and 6. We can buy a 24 foot, 52 inch deep above ground pool or we can take the kids to DisneyWorld this Fall. Lots of pros and cons here. I am pretty sure we're all on board with...

arkstfan I would go for the pool because of the ability to use it continually, but make sure you do what your kids want.

I always lose on ebay to snipers!

Do you use a snipe program when you bid on ebay? I use a program but rarely, usually that takes too much effort for me and I just bid and hope for the best, or do a buy it now if its available. I always lose to the snipers, ahhh....

New Catcher?

So how are you liking this new catcher? He looks to be pretty good thus far and it seems like the pitchers like him.

arkstfan Rob Bowen is a much better defensive catcher than Barret was, defense comes before offense at this position. The relationship with pitchers is vital and I think Bowen can achieve this with a little time, unlike Barret who hit more people than baseballs. All in...
